Open Question: I was arrested due to a false police report!?

After coming home to Florida from a month in Thailand, I was arrested for a felony grand larceny. The person who filed the police report said I came into his business and stole from him. After showing the district attorney my passport, proving I was out of the country they dropped the charges against me. Now what do I do? I have spent over $7000 on attorney fees, and bail. Plus the embarrassment of my neighbors and family seeing me handcuffed and taken prisoner. Can I, should I sue? Should I file a police report against him?
