Buriram's newest English-style restaurant is located at 27/2 Thani Road about half way between Paladmuang Road and Romburi Road. If you are newcomer to the town, it is quite easy to find. Starting from the clock tower in front of the Buriram railway station head down Romburi Road past the entertainment complex until you reach the first traffic light located at the corner of Thani Road, then turn right. It's half way down the block on the left, just across from the Siam Commercial Bank.
Recently opened in July this well run business has continued to grow at a good pace and is providing some delicious European and Thai Style cuisine in a pleasant environment for its growing number of patrons. Operated by "Nan from Ban Dan" and her partner and friend Mark Lane hailing from Crawley, West Sussex, England, the restaurant speciality is an authentic English breakfast -- including the traditional baked beans-- and which is available throughout the day. No need to head back to the East Coast to have a pleasant place to hang your hat to relax and enjoy the fare.
Bar Restaurant Buriram is its name and gathering here you will find many of the local foreigners who reside around the Buriram District. The restaurant not only boasts a really nice pool table, big screen TV with UBC--- tuned specifically to the sports channel of course, free internet service, English language newspapers, the latest bank rates schedule but also extends a good old-fashioned English welcome and a fair selection of beers, wines, whiskeys and other spirits available at a reasonable price. The best part is that the food is truly great.
